“I always said I was the most orphaned orphan of all orphans.
After all, my parents are alive and I’m here”. This
is Sumi’s summary of her situation when she is with her
peers. After being abandoned on a train, this girl ends up in
a home for orphaned and abandoned children in Basundhara.
“Siempre dije que era la huérfana
más huérfana
de todas las huérfanas. Al fin y al cabo, mis padres están
vivos y yo estoy aquí”. Así resume Sumi su
situación cuando está con sus compañeras. Esta joven, tras ser abandonada en un tren, terminó en
un centro de menores huérfanos y abandonados, en Basundhara.

morning routine. She gets up, takes a shower, brushes her teeth,
eats breakfast, leaves the house. But this routine merely serves
to hide something else. Sometimes all we can rely on to keep
going is our strength of will.
La primera hora rutinaria
del día de una mujer. Se
levanta, se ducha, se lava los dientes, desayuna, sale de su
casa. Pero la rutina solo está enmascarando algo. A
veces, sólo la fuerza de voluntad nos permite seguir.

Chaotic Ana, is the story and voyage
of Ana through 4 years of her life, from the age of 18
to the age of 22. It’s a countdown: 10, 9, 8, 7… to
0, like in hipnosis, during which Ana discovers she does
not live alone: her life is the continuation of the lives
of other young women who met with tragic deaths. They all
live within the abyss of her unconscious memory. This is
her chaos.
Caótica Ana, es la
historia-viaje de Ana durante cuatro años de su
vida, de los 18 a los 22. Una cuenta atrás,
10, 9, 8, 7… hasta el 0, como en la hipnosis, a
través
de la cual Ana comprueba que no vive sola, que su existencia
parece la continuación de otras vidas de mujeres
que murieron de forma trágica y que habitan en el
abismo de su memoria inconsciente. Ese es su caos.

“It is very simple: Up Here you remember that Down There
you forgot. And Down There, you forget that Up Here you remembered”. Libi2,
a human soul in transit between one life and another, tries
to understand, tries to keep hold of something in order to
remember later, but she knows that, once again, this will be
impossible.
“Es muy simple: aquí Arriba usted recuerda
que Abajo ha olvidado. Y allá Abajo, usted olvida que aquí Arriba
ha recordado”. Libi2, un alma humana en tránsito entre
una vida y otra, intenta comprender, intenta retener para luego
recordar, intenta retener para luego
recordar, pero sabe que, una vez más, esto será imposible.

In a deserted place where there are hardly any
signs of civilization, two dressed in warm jackets chatting under
a suffocating sun. Have to undertake a mission mandated by a
boss who never have seen. The mission: to retrieve glasses.
En
un lugar desértico, donde apenas hay
signos de civilización,
dos tipos charlan vestidos con abrigadas chaquetas bajo un sol
asfixiante. Tienen que realizar una misión por mandato
de un jefe al que nunca han visto. La misión: recuperar
unas gafas.

la pesadilla irrumpe llevándonos a los confines de la

The Plan / El Plan |
|
Two
beggars, FÉLIX and TONO, are thrown out of their “home” on
Christmas night and therefore forced into crime. FÉLIX
devises a PLAN: to break a shop window in order to attract
the police´s attention and so find a place to sleep tight
and dry in the police headquarters. Unfortunately the alarm
doesn’t go off and nobody comes to the rescue.

indigentes, FÉLIX
Y TONO, tras ser expulsados de su “hogar” una noche
de Navidad se ven empujados al delito... FÉLIX elabora
un “PLAN”: romper
la vitrina de una tienda para atraer la atención de la
policía y dormir esa noche calentitos en comisaría.
Desafortunadamente la ALARMA no se activa. ¡Nadie
acude a llevárselos! |
